Dahl to Start Working Immediately with the
National Governors' Association ______ St. Petersburg, Florida – May 8,
2008 --- American Community Development Corporation (ACD) announced today that
it is very pleased that it has today obtained the services of an experienced
representative in Washington, D.C. to assist it in interfacing with the federal
government, its various agencies and national non-profit organizations. Mr. Dahl
will also assist in national and state legal and political issues that may
affect the company's business. Mr. Dahl immediately
will represent ACD at a meeting of the Best Practices Committee of the National
Governors Association to discuss the advantages of using American Community
Development's program to eliminate overcrowding and the economic burden on the
states. “We
have hired Rudolph M. Dahl, who has over 30 years experience not only in
governmental relations, contracting and policy representation. At one time he
has been Comptroller of the nation's largest savings and loan, was a mortgage
and investment banker and a prominent real estate figure in the D.C. Area,”
said John Folger, the company’s President. “We are excited that he is
contributing his governmental expertise, political relationships with his
financial and real estate acumen. This will assist us greatly with our national
expansion.” Mr.
Dahl will represent ACD in its dealings with federal government agencies that
assist the disadvantaged as well as recruiting national support from and
relationships with non-profits who serve ACD's various residential populations.
American
